Mikel Arteta has confirmed Thomas Partey and Oleksandr Zinchenko will miss Arsenal's upcoming match against Aston Villa.
The Gunners are set to face the next Premier League rivals in midweek, and ahead of the game, Arteta provided an injury update on his players' fitness.
"Could they play on Wednesday? I don't think so," Arteta said in the pre-match press conference, via Football London.
"We still have to make another scan, especially on Thomas, to see the length. But I don't think they will be available."
Arsenal are now leading the league table with 12 points. They will be hoping to continue their unbeaten run versus Villa on Wednesday.
