Mikel Arteta and Granit Xhaka left frustrated at Arsenal duo after Slavia Praha draw

Arsenal played a 1-1 draw with Slavia Praha in the first leg of the Europa League quarter finals on Thursday. Nicolas Pepe opened the scoring in the 86th minute of the game, however, in the last minutes the Gunners conceded a goal, such an important one for the Czech side. During the game Granit Xhaka was reportedly screaming at defenders Gabriel Paulista and Cedric Soares, who mis-controlled it and caused an equaliser for Slavia Praha. According to Goal journalist Charles Watts, the Swiss midfielder screamed at his teammates: "Just clear the fu**ing ball away man!" Head coach Mikel Arteta did not name names at the end of the match but was clearly referring to the Cedric-Gabriel mix-up that cost his side the win. "We played two or three balls in certain areas that we should not do," said the Spaniard. "We put ourselves on the back foot, concede the corner and from there they put a lot of bodies in there and anything can happen. "Obviously it changes a lot the feeling after the game." The second leg of the Arsenal-Slavia Praha clash will be played next Thursday at the Sinobo Stadium, Prague. Source- Metro *Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
