Michael Owen says one Liverpool man "disappoints" him, might get a few more starts now

Michael Owen was not impressed by Liverpool attacker Divock Origi despite the player's 94-minute winner against Wolves. The Reds celebrated a 1 - 0 victory over the rivals, with Origi scoring the only goal of the game and securing three points for his side. “Whenever he starts, I must admit, he disappoints me," Owen said about Origi on Premier League Productions. “I know you will say, ‘What about Barcelona in the Champions League?’ Of course, he has had the most unbelievable moments in a Liverpool shirt, but overall when he starts, he disappoints me. “I think he is an impact sub, but he might get a few more starts now, especially in January.” Origi has previously linked with the Liverpool exit and after the Wolves match, Jurgen Klopp suggested that the player deserved to have more playing time. “(Origi) is an incredible striker and for different reasons he did not play that often, but I hope one day he finds a manager that plays him more than I do,” the manager said (via The Athletic). “He’s one of the best finishers I’ve ever seen in my life. In this great team, with our (front) three, he doesn’t play all the time but he is a very positive boy, loves the club, wants to contribute and he did in an incredible way.”
