Mauricio Pochettino singles out one player in derby

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has defended Juan Foyth’s performance in Sunday’s 4-2 defeat to Arsenal in the Premier League. "How many players on the halfway line miss the pass? A lot," Pochettino told reporters. "And then it is 50 metres to arrive at the goal. Because he is young it is easy to blame him, it is easy. "But for me, Juan was one of the best players on the pitch. If we put this pass that wasn't good in that action out of the 90 minutes, by far [he] was the best. By far." The 20-year-old was given the nod to start alongside Jan Vertonghen in central defence and found it difficult to make against the Gunners.
