Martin Odegaard reveals the former Arsenal star that he would love to play alongside

Martin Odegaard has named Thierry Henry as the one former Arsenal star he would have loved to play alongside. The 22-year-old joined the Gunners on a permanent basis in the summer, having spent the second half of last season on loan from Real Madrid. Mikel Arteta's side still have a long way to go if they want to replicate the success of the Arsene Wenger era, which was spearheaded by Henry during the early noughties. And Odegaard has revealed that he would have loved to have played alongside the Frenchman. When asked which former Arsenal star he would pick above anyone else to play with, Odegaard said:

"I think Thierry Henry, I grew up watching him play and yea I loved the way he played, his movement and his skills.   "So yeah I think that would be fun to play alongside him and to give him some assists and to combine. That would be amazing."
