Marcus Rashford makes admission over his form ahead of Europa League final

Marcus Rashford admits he is "never fully fresh" for matches and has been forced to play through the pain barrier this season. The Manchester United star has struggled with many fitness problems of late, with recent reports stating he has not been injury free for the last two years. Asked by beIN SPORTS whether he had been playing in pain, Rashford replied: “At times, but I think it’s just a part of football. "You’re never fully fresh for a game if you play as often as we play – you have to find a way to look past the small things and concentrate on your game and that’s what I’ve been trying to do. "As long as I prepare mentally for the games, you can get through the game and help the team and that’s what I’ve been focused on this year. “For me, this season could easily have been a season where I’ve been out for three or four months, but I’ve found a way to be on the pitch and help with goals and assists. “Bringing the trophy home (Europa league) is going to be the biggest high this season," he added, as United prepare to face Unai Emery's Villarreal. "Hopefully we can do that and if not, we’ll move on from the game and be ready to do better next season. “It’s difficult to accept losing and everyone at the club is a winner. That’s why we play for United. "We can only prepare for the final, do the best we can, win the game and hopefully bring the trophy back." United are set to face Villarreal in the Europa League final on Wednesday, in Gdansk Stadium, Poland. Source- Mirror Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
