Marcelo Bielsa delivers injury update on Raphinha and Rodrigo ahead of Brighton clash

Marcelo Bielsa has provided injury updates on Raphinha and Rodrigo ahead of the Premier League clash with Brighton on Saturday. Raphinha has missed the Whites last two games after he picked up a knock against Manchester City. "Raphinha no, Rodrigo, yes," Bielsa said when asked if his two summer signings would be available during his press conference. The 24-year-old has made overall 34 appearances this season in which he has scored 8 goals and provided 8 assists. Asked how serious the problem was, he answered: "More than serious is more difficult to give a diagnostic of and difficult to give return date. A hit which created an internal hematoma and until that hematoma disappears it causes pain and inhibits mobility. "This can be resolved quickly or take longer. When the hematoma reduces and the player is no longer in pain he will return quickly. The impression is that we are in the final stages until he is finally healed." While Rodrigo has missed Leeds last three games following another injury set-back. This season, he has made 25 appearances in which he has scored 5 goals and provided 1 assist. "He's healthy," the Whites head coach added. "That doesn't mean he's fit to play. We will see how many minutes he can play."   source - LeedsLive /  Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
