UEFA set to announce a new decision on Champions League match venues

UEFA are set to formally announce that Champions League second leg matches of the knockout stages will not be played on neutral venues. The decision was followed after Manchester City's and Barcelona's pressure to play at their own stadium. Hence, the Citizens will host their rivals, Real Madrid, at Etihad Stadium, while the Catalan giants will play at Camp Nou against Napoli. Round of 16 games will be played on 7 and 8 August. The quarterfinals of the Champions will be played between August 12 and 15 - one game a day in Lisbon and Benfica. The Estadio da Luz will host both semi-finals on 18 and 19 August, while the final will be held on 23 August.
