Manuel Neuer has lavished praise on Harry Kane as Germany prepare ahead of their Euro 2020 meeting with England on Tuesday evening.
Both teams go head-to-head at Wembley Stadium with a place in the quarter-finals of the competition up for grabs.
And of the crucial clash Germany captain Neuer has talked about Kane and possible threats the Tottenham striker could cause on Tuesday.
Talking ahead of the clash, he said:
“Harry Kane? He sacrifices himself and that is a dangerous sign.
“He will be completely motivated, 100 per cent, for this game. We have met him. We know him. We know how good he is. He is great in the air, strong. We know all about his qualities.”
In the meantime, Neuer’s thoughts have also been echoed by Die Mannschaft’s head coach Joachim Low but also said that Germany’s attention cannot just be reserved for the Tottenham man.
“Kane can score goals out of whatever situation,” the 61-year-old said. “He has both feet. He is good in the air, he protects the ball very well.
“We have to be focused on him but England also have Phil Foden, Raheem Sterling, Mason Mount. They have strong offensive players — Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford too.”
