Manchester United's plan to sign Juventus ace means Pogba could be sacrificed

Paul Pogba and Matthijs de Ligt could be involved in a sensational swap deal between Manchester United and Juventus this summer, reports claim. Pogba’s future at Old Trafford remains uncertain, while De Ligt has struggled in his debut season with the Serie A club. Juventus have been strongly linked with a move to re-sign the France star, who left Turin for United in a then-world record £89m deal in 2016. According to Evening Standard, United could lower their £150m asking price for Pogba if Juve includes De Ligt in their offer.  Red Devils boss Solskjaer is believed to still consider De Ligt one of the world’s best defenders despite his struggles in Italy.
