Manchester United youngster sends classy message after being released

Manchester United youngster Dion McGhee has sent a message of thanks to the club. The 19-year-old has been with the Red Devils since the age of 6. He has made 9 Premier League 2 Division 2 appearances for the U23s this term. Now McGhee is nearing the end of his contract and will not be offered a new deal. So the youngster took Twitter to share his gratitude towards the club and revealed that it's "time for a new challenge". He wrote: "Since the age of 6, all I’ve known is Manchester United. I’ve gone through the youth ranks and learned a lot within the academy. I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone at Manchester United Football Club, staff, players, coaches, managers and the fans who have helped and influenced me to become the player I am today. I’m excited at the new opportunities coming up and I’m ready for the next challenge. Thank you all! Once a red, always a red."
