Manchester United are rising their chase of Villareal centre-back Pau Torres before the Europa League final. The Red Devils are eager to complete a £42million deal for the defender. United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seems eager on signing a new centre-back once the summer transfer window opens. The Red Devils have been looking at Real Madrid's Raphael Varane. United want to get a deal over the line for Torres and that could unsettle their upcoming opponents ahead of the Europa League final. The player has a release clause of £55m in his current contract, but it seems Villareal will accept a slightly lower fee. Solskjaer's side reportedly want the deal to be wrapped up soon to unsettle Villareal before next week's final. United face Villareal in the final next Wednesday.
