Manchester United must give Jadon Sancho four guarantees ahead of transfer

Manchester United are not expected to be busy this summer after Ed Woodward's comments. However, they are still in the race to sign their top target -Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho. With the right flank a clear area needing improvement, United remain confident of doing a deal for Sancho and that the player is very keen on the idea too, according to Manchester Evening News. However, MEN reports, that United should give Sancho four guarantees to secure the 20-year-old's signature. First of all, it's his preferred position. Sancho loves to play on the right-wing and United need a natural in that position who is of elite quality. But Sancho also likes to walk around. Besides his preferred position, the winger also wants to be given playing time. Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial could compete with Sancho. But with his stats and performances, he should receive more playing time. Great players need people of similar ability around them. Maybe another arrival, either in defence or midfield, could tip the balance even further and persuade Sancho that Old Trafford is a place worth coming to. United are waiting until their Champions League fate is sealed before acting on targets. And Sancho will surely reconsider if his prospective club aren't in next season's European top competition.
