Dean Henderson will stay at Manchester United next season and compete with David de Gea for the No.1 spot, according to MEN. The 23-year-old has agreed to spend the 2020/21 season at Old Trafford. Henderson has not been assured of starting the season ahead of De Gea but wanted a clear pathway to the first-team as part of the £120,000-a-week five-year contract he inked last week. Aston Villa had expressed interest in taking Henderson on loan after he committed his future to United. But the mutual decision for Henderson to stay at United has been made and almost certainly signals the end of Sergio Romero's Old Trafford career. Romero's new representatives have attempted to whip up interest in the Argentinian after five years with United.
