Manchester United legend trolls Liverpool after Champions League exit

Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel has taken a swipe at Liverpool after the club's Champions League exit. The Reds were defeated 3 - 2 by Ateltico Madrid last night and were out of the competition due to 4-2 on aggregate. Jurgen Klopp's side have already exited FA Cup as well in spite of leading the Premier League table. With current results they couldn't reach the same success as it did Manchester United under Sir Alex Ferguson back in 1999. And Schmeichel has trolled Liverpool on Twitter, following their defeat to the Spanish side. He tweeted a crying emoji which was followed by a word: "...not!", showing what the goalkeeper thinks about comparisons between the two clubs. His former teammate Gary Neville also took Twitter to show his excitement about the Reds' loss. He used an arms crossed emoji to quote a tweet praising the team of 1999, where he also played.
