Manchester United in talks to sign Argentinian teenager as they set to battle with Manchester City

Manchester United have already started negotiations for Argentinian teenager Thiago Almada as they look to beat the competition for his signature this summer. The 19-year-old midfielder has been quite impressive for Velez Sarsfield in the Primera Division over the last two seasons and has regularly featured for Argentina’s Under-20 side. Almada has a £20m release clause in his contract, which is set to expire this summer and, given the interest in him, he could prove much more expensive afterwards. According to Fichajes, the Red Devils have already entered into negotiations with the teenager's representatives, as they look to beat local rivals Manchester City, who have also shown an interest in the teenage playmaker. Almada has made 25 appearances for Velez Sarsfield so far this season, having scored 5 goals and assisted twice. Source- Metro
