Manchester United give team news and injury updates on Luke Shaw and Brandon Williams

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided an injury update on Luke Shaw and Brandon Williams. The pair is doubt for United's trip to Crystal Palace on Thursday night. Shaw suffered a twisted ankle in the 2-2 draw with Southampton on Monday night and his replacement Williams was forced off with a gash to his head in added time. Solskjaer is almost certain to make changes after fielding the same XI in five Premier League matches running. "Luke has got a swollen ankle," Solskjaer said. "I'll give him as much time as possible to recover. It was a twisted ankle. Brandon cut up his eye. I don't really know. None of them trained yesterday, they were both swollen and I'll give them as much time as possible to let the swelling go away. "The team selection for Thursday is based on Thursday, not Sunday. Sunday is irrelevant, it does not come into my head at all, just Thursday. We will see with the injury situation. "There were a couple of doubts before the Southampton game but they all reported fit on the day and hopefully we can give them time now, not having to leave players out because of injury. But there might be one or two fresh legs coming in." Source: MEN
