Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is eyeing his former club Porto’s star defender Eder Militao, after being left frustrated in his search for a new centre-back.
According to Daily Record, Mourinho is said to have been keeping a close eye on the 20-year-old’s development in European football and Brazil international is now on the Red Devil’s target list.
Mourinho missed out on a number of defensive targets in the summer window, including Harry Maguire, Yerry Mina, Toby Alderweireld and Jerome Boateng, and may be forced to look for cheaper players in January.
The 20-year-old has established himself as a key player for the Portuguese giants since being brought in from Sao Paulo earlier this year.
