Manchester United have been dealt a transfer blow.
Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Haaland, who has long been linked with Manchester United, flew in for talks with Borussia Dortmund.
Haaland has scored 28 goals in 22 games for the Austrian side this season and the Norwegian boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been linked with a move for the player.
Solskjaer worked with Haaland at Molde.
According to
Ruhr Nachrichten and local media Radio 91.2, Haaland is said to have flown by a chartered jet into Dortmund Airport on Wednesday, 24 hours after the Liverpool defeat.
