Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne provides update on his injury

Kevin De Bruyne has provided an update on his injury while speaking to a gamer on Twitch. Manchester City midfielder was limped out of Aston Villa win, and is expected to be out for a fortnight, putting his participation against Liverpool on February 7 in doubt. Speaking on his injury, De Bruyne said: "I'm alright. I'm alright, part of football. It's not too bad. I'm getting old you know, not a young chicken anymore. I'm thirty in the summer." The 29-year-old was also asked about teammate Kyle Walker, to which he replied: "I think he's going to be fine, more like a knock. I don't know exactly what he has yet." During his press conference, head coach Pep Guardiola also provided update on both players. "A big blow," City boss said. "Kyle had a big impact kick in his hips but it is just a kick so he is not available for tomorrow but we wish for the next game. Kevin, like the doctor said today after reviewing the scan, will be 4-6 weeks out. "It is (blow) but we have to move forward. I'm not saying anything that anyone doesn't know, it is unfortunate for him and for us and we have to find a solution because everyone in their own life is struggling in the situation we are living and we have to adapt." City are set to face Cheltenham Town in the FA Cup 4th round clash on Saturday. Source- Manchester Evening News Join us on Telegram!
