Manchester City have reportedly turned down an offer of £72 million from Bayern Munich for Leroy Sane, according to the
Metro.
It is thought the bid was an opening suggestion from Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness.
Sane had been heavily linked with a move to Bayern Munich, despite Bayern’s initial reservations over City’s £90 million asking price.
Bayern Munich boss Niko Kovac was forced to apologise for the club’s pursuit of Sane after commenting that he was confident Bayern would land the player.
