Cole Palmer has played for England U-21s in their EURO2023 qualifying win over Czech Republic, but picked up a concerning injury last night.
Manchester City's talented youngster was forced to get subbed off on 73rd minute as there has been a muscle issue in his right hamstring.
After the clash, under-21 boss Lee Carsley said that England would assess the 19-year-old's condition ahead of their friendly in Georgia on Tuesday.
"Cole is fine, there's a bit of stiffness in his hamstring so we'll monitor him and make sure he's well looked after," said the England manager.
“We’ll get the medics to assess and we’ll do what’s right for Cole and Manchester City.
"Going to Georgia, it’s one of the host countries [for Euro 2023] so it’s important to use the game to look at as many players as we can.”
