Manchester City injury boost ahead of Crystal Palace clash

Manchester City has given an injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Crystal Palace on Saturday. The club players and the boss Pep Guardiola have been preparing for the upcoming match after the international break. Kevin de Bruyne and John Stones were both among the training players and hope to take part in Saturday’s clash. De Bruyne has missed the games against Dinamo Zagreb and Wolves after picking up a groin injury. His absence fully affected the Citizen’s game on the front side. John Stones was out of 3 - 2 defeat to Norwich last month, leaving the defensive side more vulnerable. His return may straighten the defence. City fans would also be pleased to see Sergio Aguero on the action. Though the City striker has carried a problem, the Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni assured it shouldn’t be a huge concern for the club. Benjamin Mendy had to miss the clash against Wolves because of his hamstring injury. He wasn’t pictured with Monday’s training squad. Both Leroy Sane and Aymeric Laporte remain as long-term absentees. The Citizens are on the 2nd place of the league table eight points behind the leaders Liverpool.
