Manchester City have reportedly considered ex-Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino as a potential replacement for Pep Guardiola should he leave the club next summer.
Guardiola signed a new deal with City in 2018 an according to the deal he should stay at the club until 2021.
However, the rumours suggested that there was a “break clause” in the new terms that would allow him to leave the club.
According to The Mirror, the club are already preparing for the worst by looking sacked Spurs boss Pochettino as his replacement.
Asked about the latest speculation, Guardiola said:
“Not true. I spoke about that a few weeks ago - about my intentions for the club.”
