Manchester City handed Kalidou Koulibaly transfer boost with Napoli admission

Manchester City transfer target Kalidou Koulibaly has been told he can leave Napoli this summer. City have been in the race for Koulibaly's signature for the entire summer. The Senegal international is said to be worth around £80million, despite the fact he's 29. Napoli president has confirmed he is free to leave, so long as the right bid comes in for him. “Koulibaly and Milik are both on their way out, transfer market permitting,” De Laurentiis told Canale 21. “So, if the transfer market allows us to sell these two excellent players, we will know how to replace them. If not, then we’ll discuss it again next year.” Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano also tweeted earlier this week that City and Napoli were in negotiations. "Manchester City are still in talks with Napoli to sign Kalidou Koulibaly but no agreement has been reached yet," he said. "Slow negotiation - the player is waiting for final decisions too."
