Julian Alvarez has decided to commit his future to Manchester City, despite strong interest by other clubs.
As per 90min, Manchester City are also keen to keep the striker in their squad. The club is satisfied with the striker's performance and does not have loaning or selling him to another club this summer.
The young Argentine joined Pep Guardiola's side in January 2022 from River Plate but was subsequently loaned back to the club for the remainder of the 2021/22 season. Last summer, ahead of the 2022/23 season, Alvarez officially joined Manchester City.
After Haaland quickly established himself as the main number 9 for Manchester City, setting numerous records and scoring an impressive 52 goals in the previous campaign, Alvarez found himself playing a supporting role to the Norway international. Despite this, the 23-year-old managed to score nine goals in the Premier League and a total of 17 goals across all competitions throughout the season.
