Loris Karius wants to return to Liverpool

Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius who is currently on loan at Besiktas has asked to cut short his loan deal and return to Premier League, it has been claimed. Karius is in the middle of a two-year spell at the Turkish club having been frozen out at Anfield by boss Jurgen Klopp. The move to Turkish club was supposed to give the German keeper the chance to get his career going again, but instead, it has turned into a difficult experience. Besiktas boss Senol Gunes has slammed Karius after a series of blunders and claimed he would drop him if he could. “He was at fault for the goals he conceded,” Gunes said. “Karius has gone a bit stagnant, something is wrong with his electricity, motivation, enthusiasm for the game. “It has been like that since the beginning. He does not really feel a part of the team, it’s something we haven’t been able to work out and, of course, I am partly to blame for this. “Something is wrong, he has also been unlucky. [He] is talented but it hasn’t worked out and we have a problem. Let me put it this way, if I still had Tolga available I would play him.”

After that, Karius has demanded FIFA take action against Besiktas having not been paid by his loan club for four months. According to Turkish Publication  Turkiye Gazetesi, the 25-year-old held a meeting with Besiktas officials where he made his feelings known. And it is reported that in those talks Karius informed them he wanted to end his agreement with the club and return to Anfield. Karius also responded to his critics by keeping a clean sheet in a 1-0 win over Goztape this past weekend, but his post-match reaction on social media has caused quite a stir. https://twitter.com/LorisKarius/status/1107007724041224192
