The Reds manager Jurgen Klopp learns bad news, as Adam Lallana may be ruled out for up to a month after receiving a kick in a match against Lithuania.
Lallana has been a key player for Liverpool so far, playing in 27 of the club’s 29 matches in the Premier League, scoring seven goals.
The 28-year-old midfielder will miss the upcoming Merseyside derby at Anfield. If Liverpool want to secure a Champions League spot every point is more than important and Jurgen Klopp will have to find a replacement to try and overtake the midfield against Everton.
Liverpool are now 4th in the Premier League table with 56 points after 29 games. If Everton manage to win the derby they would reduce the difference in points to just 3.
