Liverpool urged to prioritise Timo Werner transfer over Jadon Sancho for one reason

Liverpool hero Steve Nicol has said that the Reds should sign Timo Werner instead of Jadon Sancho this summer. Both players have been heavily linked with a move to the Anfield in the recent months. Werner reportedly wants to join Liverpool and the Reds could activate his £52m release clause in the coming months. Sancho is also said to be on Liverpool's target list, however, Manchester United and Chelsea are desperate to land the England international as well. And the Reds hero Nicol has urged Klopp to sign Werner this summer due to the forward's versatility. "I would go for Timo Werner," he told ESPN FC. "Werner basically can play all across the front line. Left, right and centre forward. "Sancho could play left or right but I don't think he could play up top.
