Liverpool to make a huge sell for signing Thiago Alcantara

Liverpool could make a huge sell to secure the signing of Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara. The 29-year-old has been heavily linked with the move to Anfield for the summer transfer window, with Jurgen Klopp willing to improve the squad for the next season. However, the club boss has been suggested by Liverpool’s hierarchy that they would have to part with some club players in order to get the finance for new signings. According to German source Kicker (via Sport Witness), Liverpool haven't cooled down their interest in Alcantara, though the Spanish professional's transfer could mean the departure of Naby Keita. The Guinea international has struggled at Anfield, since joining Jurgen Klopp's side back in 2018 due to a number of injuries. Indeed, he has shown impressive games after that restart of the season.
