Liverpool stars Trent Alexander-Arnold and Fabinho have new shirt number opportunity

Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold and Fabinho could be given new shirt numbers if they want to. The Reds have not signed anyone yet during this summer transfer window and currently enjoying some time off before they prepare to return for pre-season training. While the Premier League champions have not welcomed anyone, they have said goodbye to Adam Lallana and Dejan Lovren. Lallana joined Brighton, while Lovren signed for Zenit St Petersburg. Nathaniel Clyne was also released from the club due to contract expiry. It has been confirmed that Curtis Jones will wear number 17 in the upcoming season. Lallana's number 20 is currently vacant and it can be given to Harvey Elliott or Neco Williams. Clyne's number 2 and Lovren's number 6 are also currently vacant. Alexander-Arnold, who's currently wearing the iconic number 66, might consider taking number 2 as it is usually worn by right-backs. Meanwhile, Lovren's former No 6 shirt may be of interest to Fabinho. source - Express Join us on Telegram
