Liverpool owners sent Anfield warning amid Super League collapse

Jamie Carragher told Sky Sports that he ‘doesn’t know how’ John W Henry, his wife, Linda, and the club’s chairman, Tom Werner, will be allowed back at Liverpool after the drama of the European Super League. The past two days have been crazy in the world football, with controversial Super League announcement and later with the withdrawal. And given the drama that has come out of these last few days, Carragher cannot see how the Liverpool owner can sit with the fans at Anfield now. “I don’t see how John Henry can sit in that wonderful Main Stand that he was a big part in building,” said Carragher. “I don’t know how he sits their and watches a game. Him, or Tom Werner, his wife, Linda. I don’t see how they can come to the club on the back of this because this will never be forgotten. “I think the best thing for them will be to find a buyer. I am not sure how easy that is in the situation we are in. But I think it’s going to be very difficult for them to have any sort of relationship with the Liverpool supporters and the club going forward.” Source- HITC Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
