Liverpool 'make contact' with Brazil side over 18-year-old wonderkid

Liverpool have reportedly made contact with Vasco da Gama over a summer transfer for wonderkid Talles Magno. The 18-year-old has attracted the attention of plenty of European sides with PSG, Bayer Leverkusen and Sevilla among those linked. Magno has little first-team experience, however was part of the Brazil team that won the Under-17 World Cup in 2019 and has scored three goals in six appearances for the Under-19 side. He is contracted at Vasco da Gama until 2022 and has a £45m release clause. According to Brazilian publication Yahoo Esportes the Reds have made contact with the club to see if a deal can be done this summer. It is claimed that Liverpool have asked whether Vasco da Gama will accept less than the £45m release clause. There are believed to be hopes that Magno could be snapped up for as little as £18m with Vasco not in the best economic health. Source- Daily Star
