Liverpool injury update and team news ahead of Chelsea match

Liverpool host Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday. The Reds lead the Premier League table by two points having played one game more than second-placed Manchester City. They could welcome back two stars for the visit of Chelsea this weekend. Adam Lallana missed the Champions League win over Porto on Tuesday but is in line to return against the Blues. Midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has been nursing a minor back problem and was not risked in midweek but he too is likely to be restored to the squad. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain played a full hour against Bury in a behind-closed-doors friendly at the club's training ground this week. The Chelsea clash will come too soon for the 25-year-old but it looks likely he will feature for the Reds before the end of the campaign after suffering a serious knee injury towards the end of last season.
