Barcelona could miss out on Ajax Amsterdam captain Matthijs De Ligt due to price issues.
Catalan side has offered
€70 m to 19-year-old player. De Ligt himself hinted many times he would love to follow his teammate and friend Frenkie De Jong and join Barcelona.
However, defender's agent Mino Raiola thinks
€70 m is not the right price for De Ligt and demands more, as reported by
Diario Sport.
Barcelona insist they are not going to give the same price or more as for De Jong (
€75 m). This means La Liga champions could not buy the player, and this is a massive boost for Liverpool and Juventus, two other clubs, also interested in signing Dutch youngster.
De Ligt has been recently give advice to join Liverpool, where he can make a potentially incredible partnership with Virgil Van Dijk, PFA Player of The Season.
