Liverpool fan from Coventry has saved £10.000 to watch UCL final live: He is now diagnosed with terminal cancer

Dave Evans, a Liverpool fan from Coventry, has saved £10.000 in order to travel to Madrid and watch his favourite team playing against Tottenham in Champions League final, is now diagnosed a terminal cancer and could not witness his beloved team lifting the trophy (in case Reds beat Spurs). After being diagnosed a terminal cancer, he has canceled his trip. Evans’s wife told CoventryLive: "We first moved to New Zealand on December 19 2018, and on February 22 he was diagnosed with bile duct cancer (Cholangiocarcinoma). "We were told it was inoperable, and without chemo, he would only have a few months to live. "It was a massive shock to us as he wasn't ill beforehand. We had to have tests, scans and medicals done before we emigrated over here and nothing came up there. "It was about a month after we got here that Dave got a stomach ache and we both had a tummy bug but mine cleared up and his didn't." she added. Liverpool and Tottenham will face at Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, on June 1. Source - CovenryLive
