Liverpool continue pre-season training despite injury blow as player forced into surgery

Liverpool continued with their pre-season training ahead of their next UK-based warm-up games. Jurgen Klopp's squad for the upcoming pre-season is already trimmed to a 16-man squad that included the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Harry Wilson, Sepp van den Berg, Rhian Brewster, Ben Woodburn and James Milner. However, they are without a number of key stars as Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Naby Keita are at the Africa Cup of Nations, while Roberto Firmino and Alisson are away at the Copa America. Meanwhile, Liverpool will be without young goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher, who will miss the entire pre-season training this summer after having to undergo surgery. The 20-year-old underwent surgery after suffering from a broken wrist.
