Liverpool have reportedly contacted agent Mino Raiola in recent months as they look to sign Stefan de Vrij from Inter Milan. Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez are in battles to play again this season while Joel Matip and Trent Alexander-Arnold have also spent time on the sidelines. FC Inter claim that Liverpool, as well as Manchester United, have contacted Raiola over a move for De Vrij. The 28-year-old is a team-mate of Van Dijk for the Netherlands and has regularly impressed in Serie A. De Vrij previously praised Liverpool star Van Dijk, saying: “He is a strong defender. I can learn from him. On and off the pitch he is a good person. It is always nice to play alongside him.”
