Liverpool agree contract with goalkeeper amid Alisson Becker's injury

According to Liverpool ECHO, the Reds have agreed a one-year deal with veteran goalkeeper Andy Lonergan as Alisson Becker is set to be out for few weeks. Alisson was replaced by the newcomer Adrian in the 39th minute after suffering a calf injury during Liverpool's 4-1 victory over Norwich City. The Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that the Brazilian goalkeeper will be out for few weeks. Liverpool are preparing to play an UEFA Super Cup game against Chelsea on Wednesday and the only option for the Reds currently is the newcomer Adrian. Meanwhile, Lonergan joined the Reds on their pre-season US tour with a lack of senior goalkeeping options in the squad.
