Lionel Messi delivers honest verdict on Manchester City's chances at Champions League

Lionel Messi believes that Pep Guardiola's Manchester City are one of the favourites to win the Champions League. Speaking to Marca, the former Barcelona icon stated that Liverpool and City are among the top contenders for the UCL title.

“Now, Liverpool are doing very well. They are again [looking like] the Liverpool that won the Champions League. Then there are Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid…," said the Argentine.   “There are many teams that can fight for the Champions League, which is one of the most even and competitive in recent years because there are several teams that could win it.”
