Bernie Ecclestone has slammed Lewis Hamilton for pulling out contract negotiations with Mercedes. The ex-F1 owner feels the Brit is doing so to keep himself in the headlines. Hamilton is out of contract after his last deal with Mercedes expired three weeks ago. Express Sport understands that the Silver Arrows are confident of having a new deal signed before pre-season testing begins on March 2. Ecclestone thinks Hamilton is playing games to keep himself relevant. "It's all just show," the 90-year-old told Swiss newspaper Blick. "It's so that Lewis, in particular, stays in the headlines during these dreary weeks."
