L’Equipe: M'Baye Niang rejects Tottenham approach as he doesn't want to be "the second" alongside Harry Kane

Tottenham have received a transfer blow with the club target M’Baye Niang rejecting to join Jose Mourinho's side this summer. Niang plays for French side Rennes. He has scored 15 goals in 36 matches term. The 25-year-old has been one of the main targets of the Spurs for the summer transfer window, with the French club set a €25m transfer fee for the Senegalese. However, according to L’Equipe, Niang has no interest in joining the Spurs and having the role of "the second" along with the club's No 1 striker Harry Kane. The report claims former AC Milan striker instead prefers a move to the Ligue 1 side Marseille.
