Leicester City offer long-term deal to Adam Lallana

Leicester City have reportedly offered a long-term contract to Liverpool star Adam Lallana. According to Football Insider the Foxes head a queue of clubs keen to sign Lallana, who is out of contract at the end of June even though there is a seven-day window from June 23 for Premier League clubs to extend deals for out-of-contract players. Tottenham, West Ham United and Burnley are also reported to be interested in the 32-year-old England international, along with sides from Serie A and La Liga. And former Leicester coach Kevin Phillips told Football Insider earlier this week that he is convinced Lallana will sign for the Foxes. When asked about potential interest back in February, Leicester head coach Brendan Rodgers said: "I’ve seen a lot of stuff around Adam and that we’ve approached Liverpool, which obviously isn’t the case. "Adam's a wonderful player and he's got a great attitude. When I took him into Liverpool, he was unfortunate early on with injuries, but he's shown during his time there that when he's fit and available, he's a fantastic player." Throughout his time at the Anfield, Lallana has made 178 appearances and netted 22 times. Source- LeicestershireLive
