Kylian Mbappe has labelled Mohamed Salah as 'one of the best players in the world' and has admitted he is a great admirer of the Liverpool superstar.
The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield, as his contract at PSG is set to expire in the summer.
Salah has been spectacular for Liverpool with his 31 goal contributions so far this season.
The 29-year-old was up for a prize at last night's Globe Soccer Awards, but it was Mbappe who was named the 2021 Men's Player of the Year.
Karim Benzema, Robert Lewandowski, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo were the other four nominees.
Speaking at the ceremony Mbappe was full of praise for Salah. The 23-year-old said:
"To talk about Mohamed Salah, he's one of the best players in the world.
"He was the sixth finalist on the list at the Globe Soccer Awards [Men's Player of the Year] and has scored a lot of goals for Liverpool.
"He makes the difference and I love to watch him play. He is a great player."
