Klopp highlights the best deal done at Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp has praised the Joel Matip’s transfer deal as “one of the best pieces of business” he has done at Liverpool. The Reds signed the 28-year-old on a free transfer from Schalke in 2016 when Klopp moved to Anfield. The German coach talked about this on his recent press conference. “With the challenges you have, you grow. Joel was always an incredible talent,” he said. "He was 18 playing for Schalke, that's not easy. In a world of big transfer fees, signing Joel on free transfer was incredible, one of best pieces of business we did." Matip has started in five matches out of six for Liverpool, has scored once and was named man of the match in previous Premier League win over Chelsea.
