Kieran Trippier has Manchester United transfer fear as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer changes plans


Atletico Madrid right-back Kieran Trippier has revealed his fear over a potential move to Manchester United, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, set to change his transfer plans for the summer. Trippier became Diego Simeone’s first-choice in the position after moving to the Spanish capital from Tottenham. Trippier’s displays earned him a call-up to England’s squad for Euro 2020. He has also drawn the interest of United. But it seems the pursuit is a marked change from Solskjaer’s plans for the summer window. According to The Times, reporting Solskjaer did not intend to sign a right-back. The Times also reporting that United are currently not willing to match Atletico’s valuation for the right-back. It is also claimed that Atletico’s high valuation has left Trippier fearing that the Spanish champions could price him out of his dream move.
