Kevin de Bruyne to break six-year record for Manchester City ahead of today's Brighton clash

Manchester City are set to visit Brighton's Amex Stadium ahead of today's clash.

As the Cityzens prepare for their upcoming matchday, Pep Guardiola has said Kevin De Bruyne was "getting better" in midweek.

The Belgium international played a key part in City's squad durin last season. However, he suffered few injuries towards the back end of the previous campaign including a facial fracture. Having scored in his previous two Premier League matches against Liverpool and Burnley, De Bruyne could make it three in three at the Amex. This would be the first time he has managed to do since 2015, which was his debut season at the Etihad. Back then he scored against West Ham, Tottenham and Newcastle in successive matches.   Source - manchestereveningnews Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
