Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has slammed UEFA after Belgium secured their spot for Euro 2020.
The 28-year-old helped the Belgium national team in 6 - 1 defeat over Cyprus, that included their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign.
Belgium's place at next summer's tournament was already clear when the squad became the first team to qualify after 9 - 0 win over San Marino in October.
However, before the qualification statement, the country already had their exact place set in Group B with Russia, Denmark and AN Other before a draw has been made.
De Bruyne was not impressed with this fact, telling
HLN Sport: "It’s a disgrace. For me, this feels like competition distortion. Football has become more and more business. "
The full draw for the tournament will take place on November 30. De Bruyne is expected to be one of the stars as he currently enjoys an injury-free season.
