Kendrick Perkins apologizes to Stephen Curry after legendary game

Former NBA player turned ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins offered an apology to Stephen Curry and took back everything bad he has said, after the Golden State Warriors star dropped 49 points against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday. Following Curry’s epic performance, Perkins took to Twitter to express his thoughts on the two-time MVP. Perkins even revealed the real reason why he was jealous of Curry, who has been absolutely on fire this month.

Hey @StephenCurry30 anything that I’ve ever said negative about you I apologize Sir! What you are doing on the court and the game of basketball is beyond LEGENDARY!!! Another 49 piece spicy with the W. I was just jealous because you were light skin and I’m not! Carry the hell on.

Back in Perkins’ playing days, both Curry and Perkins actually had an in-game beef. In Game 2 of the 2018 NBA Finals between the Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers, Curry was upset that Perkins didn’t move his feet out of the way after a shot attempt. Perkins, who was on the injured list at that time and was just watching from the bench, said he had no bad intentions which Curry didn’t seem to believe.
