Chelsea have long been linked with a move for Bayer Leverkusen ace Kai Havertz. On Tuesday, respected journalist Nichola Shirac claimed the blues are ready to offer a 5-year-deal to the player. The contract is thought to be a €8M per-year.

Now, according to Bild, Havertz asked Bayer Leverkusen to sell him this summer. Chelsea and Real Madrid are both interested and the Blues want to pay his €100m asking price in instalments.
